Åsa Larsson

Åsa Larsson (born in Uppsala, Sweden, 1966) is a Swedish crime-writer. Prior to becoming a full-time writer, Larsson was a tax lawyer, a profession she shares with the heroine of her novels, Rebecka Martinsson. Her first novel, published in the USA as Sun Storm, won Sweden's best first crime novel award, and, when published in the UK (under the title The Savage Altar), was shortlisted for the second Duncan Lawrie International Dagger.
