NOTE: Åge Aleksandersen is a Romani Gypsy by ethnicity. Several of his songs are about the suffering of his people, and the persecution they faced in Norway, and throughout the world. He belongs to a branch of the Romani people known as Norwegian and Swedish Travelers, and was very attached to his Gypsy Traveler grandparents.
