Zyta Janina Gilowska (born July 7, 1949 in Nowe Miasto Lubawskie) - Polish economist and politician. Deputy Prime Minister of Poland From January 7 until June 23, 2006, she was the Deputy Prime Minister of Poland and Finance Minister in the government led by Kazimierz Marcinkiewicz and later Jarosław Kaczyński. She resigned over unconfirmed accusations of cooperation with the Soviet-backed secret service. After being cleared of these accusations, she resumed her position as Deputy Prime Minister and finance minister on September 22nd.

She is the former vice chairman of Civic Platform (Polish: Platforma Obywatelska) party. She left the Civic Platform Party on 21 May 2005 after protesting against accusations of party colleagues of various wrongdoings. She is a former deputy to the Sejm (the lower chamber of the Polish Parliament) (years 2001-2005). She was previously in the Freedom Union (Unia Wolności).

Gilowska graduated with a degree in economics from the Warsaw University and was later an economics professor at the Catholic University of Lublin.
