[edit] Re: List of Final Fantasy VII Materia

Hello,

The materia article appears to be a little bit problematic because it's not exactly encyclopedic in nature, more GameFAQslike, in fact. It may get deleted following the deletion debate, or at least turned into less game-guide-like form, much like Materia article is right now. Wikipedia is not really for in-depth stuff like this, it's meant to describe stuff for people who have absolutely no idea what the stuff is about, and don't want to be bored by really nitty-gritty details.

Anyway, I've copied the contents of Support, Command and Independent materia to StrategyWiki's Final Fantasy VII article, and added you to the credits of the StrategyWiki article. (Magic and Summon materia is already covered to large extent in StrategyWiki.) This article is also under the GFDL license used in Wikipedia, and a lot of game guide content that used to be in Wikibooks is now in StrategyWiki, so it appears to be a good place for this stuff. I recommend you to improve the article there to reduce wasted effort. =) --wwwwolf (barks/growls) 13:03, 4 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:USGSCharbonneauOR.ashx.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:USGSCharbonneauOR.ashx.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 17:14, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

  • In rebuttal, a text description of the license was provided when initially the template didn't appear to work. OrphanBot did its job, tagged an image without a license template; in this case it was done in error. -- Zytron 05:14, 30 December 2006 (UTC)
