Zyanon Paznyak

Zyanon Paznyak is a Belarsian archeologist and politicial activist. He was the archeologist who was responsible for releasing to the public the discovery of a mass grave near Kurapaty in June of 1988. A few months later, Paznyak was selected as the leader of the Belarusian Popular Front, a political party who wished to see Belarus break away from the Soviet Union.
