Zumpango

Zumpango is a municipality located in the northeastern part of the state of México in Mexico. It lies directly north of the Federal District (Distrito Federal) in the northeastern part of the state of México, and is part of the Greater Mexico City urban area. The census of 2005 reported a population 127,988. The municipality has an area of 244.08 km² (94.24 sq mi). The municipal seat is in the city of Zumpango de Ocampo. Other significant communities in the municipality include San Juan Zitlaltepec and San Bartolo Cuautlalpan.
