The village (dark red) and the statistical district (light green) of Zuidermeer in the municipality of Wester-Koggenland.

Zuidermeer ( 52°40′N, 4°59′E) is a town in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Wester-Koggenland, and lies about 6 km west of Hoorn .

The statistical area "Zuidermeer", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 480.[1]
