The Zuidas (meaning South Axis in Dutch) is a large urban project in South of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. It can be found between the Amstel river and the turnaround of the ringway A10. In this area the headquarters of ABN AMRO and ING Group, two of the largest banks in the world, can be found, and many other financial businesses are found in this area as well.

In the future the station in the center of this area Amsterdam Zuid WTC Station may become a second main station of Amsterdam, connecting to Schiphol, Rotterdam, Antwerp, Brussels, and Paris by high speed rail, the Thalys. It will also connect to the German high speed network, the ICE, via Utrecht and Arnhem. The station will also be connected to the city centre through the new North South line, the North-South subway connection in Amsterdam which will probably connect to the Airport Schiphol, or Amsterdam Airport. To create the area a large infrastructural axis will be transformed into a tunnel, which will transform the entire area. The project will cost an estimated 2 billion Euros.
