Zug Izland is a rock group, formerly associated with Psychopathic Records. They describe their music style as "an exploration of imperfect human morality brought forth through the imagery of a pure fantasy". Their first album was entitled Cracked Tiles, released in 2003. The lyrics were written by Violent J of the Insane Clown Posse. They were in the song "Cotton Candy & Popsicles" on ICP's The Wraith: Shangri-La album. The group was then moved to the Psychopathic Records sub-group, Ax & Smash Records (AXS), in early 2004. On this label, they released their sophomore album, 3:33 (three thirty-three). Zug Izland was then released and AXS was closed. They later signed with Valeo Music Inc and plan to release The Promised Land album sometime in 2006. During the making of The Promised Land, they took time to record a cover of the Pink Floyd classic "Another Brick In The Wall" that was released online.

The Detroit based rock band broke onto the national competitive music scene in 2003 with their debut album, "Cracked Tiles", produced by Joe Bruce (ICP), Syn & Platinum producer Mike P for Psychopathic Records. The group took precedence immediately with their raw yet fresh approach of gritty rock & roll!

Soon after the initial release of "Cracked Tiles", Zug Izland pushed their first two ground breaking singles; "Fire" and the classic cover theme song from "The Lost Boys" movie soundtrack "Cry". Both of which made an enormous impact nationwide and received a great deal of radio airplay. It was during this exhaustive period that Zug Izland completed a full US tour and began taking steps towards the birth of their follow up album.

In 2004, the highly anticipated sophomore record titled "3:33 (this time in it's entirety produced by Mike P) was released and undeniably made even more noise then it's predecessor! Once again Zug Izland creatively masterminded another step in the right direction with the CD's first single "Saved". Shortly after, "Saved" took over the airwaves nationwide and received such an overwhelming response from fans; the group replied back with their first "MTV" ready video!

As the band has progressed and continued to make noise their hard work has been definitely been paying off, this time without the support of management or a label! From Zug Izland's first inception onto the national rock & roll music scene their youthful, energetic, live performance has shared the stage with a great number of excellent artist. Some of these include; "Dope", "Saliva", "Three Days Grace" and "Tommy Lee" just to name a few!

Currently the band is making the final preparations to release their most up to date creation "Promised Land" slated for a 2007 release!

The band created a style of rock and roll known as Toxic Rock. They are the only members of this genre at present.

Syn, the frontman of the toxic waste terrorists, grips his Mic like a butcher knife and slaughters the masses with his deep and widely ranged vocals. Syn was born in Canada and later moved to Georgia and then to Michigan. From there, he sang lead in a grunge band, and was a big fan of Psychopathic Records artists Insane Clown Posse. So, it was a dream come true when I.C.P. called him up to sing as "Cynn" on the track, "Hatchet Execution" on Blaze Ya Dead Homie's "1 Less G N' Da Hood", he was thrilled. This is where he met Mike P., who was producing the album. When Violent J from I.C.P. and Mike P. went into the studio to start on the Zug Izland album, they called up "Cynn", changed his name to "Syn", and set him up as the lead vocalist. Syn turned down two major label record companies and MTV stardom to be a part of Zug Izland. Now, Syn is a household name on Psychopathic Records. He not only sings with Zug Izland, but also puts out vocals to EVERYONE'S project. Most recently he sings A LOT on Insane Clown Posse's "The Wraith: Shangri-La", adds vocals to Esham's 2002 track, "Redemption", and does a spoken word intro to Anybody Killa's "Hollowpoint". Syn is everywhere these days, but his allegiance to Zug Izland is lifelong.

Album producer, music writer, guitarist, back up vocalist, and many other talents are the duties of the multi-talented genius known as Mike P. Mike P., whose real name is Mike Puwal, was introduced to the juggalo world when he wrote and produced the Insane Clown Posse's track entitled "Run." He was warmly welcomed into the writing and producing aspect by Psychopathic Records. Since joining Psychopathic Records, he has written and produced for Blaze Ya Dead Homie, Dark Lotus, Psychopathic Rydas, and the Insane Clown Posse. A lot of recent heat was directed toward Mike P. by the juggalos when he was named the writer and producer of the long awaited 6th Joker's Card, The Wraith, instead of Mike E. Clark. Finally stepping out of the shadows of writing and producing comes Mike P. equipped with his Les Paul Gothic style guitar. With his heavy hitting riffs and great on stage presence, this musical genius will knock you straight on your ass if you're not ready.
