The Saudi Zubayr Al-Rimi (Arabic: زبير الريمي ‎) (19 August 1974 - 23 September 2003) was a member of al-Qaeda and one of two people added to the United States FBI Seeking Information - War on Terrorism list before 8 October 2003.[1] He was being sought for questioning in connection with possible threats against the United States.[2] He was also wanted in Saudi Arabia under the name Sultan Jubran Sultan al-Qahtani ( سلطان جبران سلطان القحطاني ). Other aliases included Abu Zubayor Al-Rimi, Abu Zubayr, Zubayr Al-Na'Mi, Ahmad Al-Na'Mi, and Ibrahim Al Subahi. Al-Rimi was married to Hanan Raqib, a Morrocan.

He was killed on 23 September 2003 in a Saudi raid on an al-Qaeda safe house in Jizan, Saudi Arabia.[3]

Ahmed Omar Abu Ali, in his controversial confession, said that he met Sultan Jubran Sultan al-Qahtani in Saudi Arabia, and that al-Qahtani instructed him to case nuclear facilities in the United States, as potential terrorist targets.[4]
