Would it help to comment on terminology?

ZSU = self-propelled. ZPU = towed.

ZxU-cc-n where cc is the calibre and n the number of barrels.

[edit] Text merged from ZSU-23-2

>The ZSU-23-2 is a two barrel, 23mm anti aircraft cannon mounted on a towed, 2 >wheeled carrage. Barrels can also be fully depressed to allow firing at ground >targets. It is effective out to 2500m at an elevation of 1500mm. > This weapon was introduced by the Soviet Union in 1964. It was exported extensively, and there are a number of non-ex-Soviet produced versions.

The above text about ZSU-23-2 seems a description of a "vulgar" towed ZU-23-2. Besides, as far as I know ZSU-23-2 is simply a misspelling of ZU-23-2, caused by similar designations such as ZSU-23-4, ZSU-57-2. In those designations, "S" stands for "samokhodnaya" - "self-propelled". ZU-23-2 is towed and afaik doesn't have an "official" self-propelled version (although improvised versions exist, see photo in the article or here [1]). So... does anybody have any information about something oficially called ZSU-23-2 ? If not, the article needs to be fixed. Bukvoed 09:22, 13 November 2005 (UTC)

Removed the above text. If somebody has any information about variant called ZSU-23-2, please add it to the variants section. Bukvoed 12:06, 28 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Finnish ItK 95

Article says Finnish ItK 95 is often mounted on vehicle, i would personally say that it's never used from vehicle, only original model is used. That is what they train in finnish army —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 84.251.226.5 (talk • contribs).
