Zounouz (turkish pronounciation)also known az Zonouz (persian pronounciation) is a little lovely village in province of Eastern Azarbaijan in Iran.It is over a mountain with very cold weather in winter and cool summer. It places in the 20th kilometer of the road of Marand-Jolfa. It is famous for its different types of apple. Zounouz is capital of "apple" in Iran with some types of apple trees that grow just in Zounouz. In zounouz nearly 25 different types of apple trees grow and half of them are special to Zounouz like : "Girde shirin" and "Baljeyi" . Zounouz also has very delicious fruite called "Malachi" . Zounouz has famous mountains like "Mahar" that is tourist attractive.
