Copy vio error caught before out more than a couple minutes. Teeny tiny print at the bottom of an article is easy to miss. Methinks a wiki icon embedded at the front of a wiki derived article would be nice, to prevent noobs like myself from making an a** of ourselves too easily...

The cite your sources bandits are irritating. I just added info for sourcing on an author. It took 2 minutes at Amazon to confirm 90% of the material. Making something a stub is one thing, but author entries like that take almost less time to verify, than to mark as unsourced. Ditto for athletes, most of the time. Grr.

Hey Zotel. As an aside before I get down to business, you definitely get the Fernando Newbie Seal of Approval. Good edit summaries, man, keep it up. Now, about Jedi Civil War. I can see where you're coming from and I understand why you took down the tone tag. I'll give you my rationale for putting it there, and I'll leave it up to you to see if you think it merits being replaced or not.

• The article is very talky and conversational. It doesn't read like an academic piece. I'll admit that I might be asking a bit much for fanbois to be academic, but look at the relative quality of Tatooine and Lightsaber. It can be done.
• It's essentially a plot synopsis of the Knights of the Old Republic video game. I imagine (although I'm not a big enough SW fan to know) that there's more to the Jedi Civil War than just the events that occurred in that game. I'm sure there's novels and comic books and what not.

Anyway, that's my two bits. Keep contributing at the level you are right now, and you'll be a fine editor. Drop me a note on my talk page after you read this. Fernando Rizo T/C 03:51, 16 August 2005 (UTC)

Hmm - Note to self, come up with a consolidation / trim / concise / ??? tag. Expansion is great, but HA how about a Template:TMI (too much info) tag! That would be pretty close to what it should be...

hmm. hmm. Template:Concise should probably be the tag. Template:Brevity might work too. This article is too in-depth for an encycolpedic article. Please consider trimming/removing some of the extraneous/excess content to make this a more concise and relevant/readable/usable/??? article Still needs work tho... Make it into a restricted used template ONLY for IP user pages, and have the user pages locked to a "welcome page" to prevent spamming newbie wikipedians and confusing them... Just a thought...

Missed cat tags on the temp page, and a few other things. Got it to 90% or so of what I wanted. Hopefully all the tweakers will catch the stuff I missed. Just couldn't stand the paper thin article that was there compared to the portugese version. At least it will be easier to fix up into something decent now... Source for the problems with trees=water argument. Apparently due to their higher surface area for aspiration, they lose more water than smaller plants, and actually can suck water right out of the enviroment. Go figure. STOP THE DESERT. Plant a bush. Or grass. Very contrary to what I always heard/thought, but I guess thats why they have to do studies on this stuff, since even the obvious can be wrong. Just noticed the printable version link on the sidebar. Don't think something like that would be new, but surely would have noticed before? Maybe? Not sure I like the idea of ads on wikipedia to answers.com but on the other hand it would be good revenue stream theoretically. Hopefully it won't be too intrusive and muck the site up. keeps whining about losing session data. Only a problem on minor edits, if I removed the check from the box it gives no problems. Ah well, not a huge deal, just a trivial annoance that will most likely be fixed soon. The servers being flaky at random times is soemthing I don't think will go away uless some rich person bequeathes a large trust fund to wiki tho...

According to the article on International organization, these only came into vogue in the late 1800's. Do a quick and dirty look for these down from 1641 and up from it (via List of state leaders in XXXX). So far, these deadwood links disappeared at 1621. Went back to 1591 and no further mentions. (BTW the table is ugly on my browser, with the dividing line chopping thru the text, alignment seems to be a wiki prob with images too) Leaving list of religious leaders, since there were popes, Anglican church leaders, et al thru this period. Disappears in 1710-1810, again. GRR. after 20 pages of search of "list of international organization leaders in" came across more redlink spam, in the 1200's for crying out loud. Spot checked to 100 pages. So far, have NOT seen many of these lists at all, and none seem to be older than 20th century. Leaving there 50 years prior to 1878, on off chance they are notable before then. No non-redlinks up to 1828. Be nice if I knew how to make a bot, to auto chop these. used to be decent at modding terminal scripts to do what I wanted.

• Additional note - if there were enough "important" international orgs back then, they should have had something by now. Since there are only redlinks, I am assuming that there are very few if any, and if so, they would be adequately covered by their own article. Zotel - the Stub Maker 16:08, 8 November 2005 (UTC)

Hi - I've just reverted your re-wording of struct-stub. Not sure why you changed it, but it certainly confused a lot of people. I've just had to empty all the building terms and architectural styles out of its category. Struct-stub is only intended to be used for individual buildings or structures. Everything else related to building (methods, styles, types, features, etc) gets architecture-stub. Grutness...wha? 05:10, 3 December 2005 (UTC)

Trouble is that someone's been changing the architecture-stub wording, too. That's a tricky one to word, though - it's basically for everything that isn't a specific building but is related to buildings. personally, I'd say that Flood wall is pretty close to being a geographical term (like, say, Flood plain or Drove road, so geo-term-stub is just as possible. there are always a few grey areas you can't quite pin down! Just checking - you moved the link "For the corporation, see Waste Management Incorporated" from the bottom to the top. It seem to give a disproportionate emphasis on a single local company over the who field. Is that simply to be in line with standard Wiki practice?

Yes, moved to be "standard location" - after all, if you happen to be looking for a secondary link, you don't want to have to scroll thru and entire article to find it, and you may not know to, since the vast majority of thses are at the top of pages. Since some people feel that this template was T1 (which may or may not apply to UBX templates depending on what day of the week it is and which stars are in alignment) I am manually subst on all user pages linking to this template, since individual users are allowed more leeway in their personal pages than the template namespacey thing. May I ask what you are resisting? I am resisting GUS, the German Userbox Solution. My plan is to merge as many like templates together to reduce the amount of templates while still keep the function of them so that those against them will have less to argue about. My goal is to remove the need for GUS. Would you please consider restoring the master template to your user page? - LA @ 23:18, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

• "Windows" is a sufficient name for the template, adding User os blah blah seems extraneous and wasteful. At least to me. I liked the old template. Hi. To get the article undeleted, see Wikipedia:Undeletion policy, and add the article to Wikipedia:Deletion review. With the new pages patrol, occasionally an article gets deleted that may have stayed otherwise. That has happened before and will happen again. Personally, I still think the article is not significant enough, but I have erred before, and I would have no problems with the article if the community wants to keep it.
