Zoran Planinić (born September 12, 1982, in Mostar, SFR Yugoslavia (present Bosnia and Herzegovina)) is a Croatian professional basketball player currently a member of TAU Cerámica in Spanish ACB league's top division. He is a member of the Croatian national basketball team.

Planinić played for Cibona Zagreb in 2001 and 2002 and was named the league MVP in 2001. He was part of the Croatian under-22 team which won the silver medal at the 2001 World Championship for 22-and-under.

The 6'7", 195 lb shooting guard was drafted 22nd overall by the New Jersey Nets in the 2003 NBA Draft and in three seasons has averaged four points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game.

Planinić's three NBA seasons have been largely unnotable, with his only distinguishing moment coming in the 2005-06 NBA season, when he hit a spectacular fullcourt 77-foot, 3rd quarter ending buzzer beater at a home game against the Utah Jazz.

In summer 2006, Planinić and the Nets agreed to a buyout, in which he was sent back to Europe to spend the season with TAU Cerámica in Spain that also features talented NBA prospect Tiago Splitter.
