Zolotonosha (Ukrainian: Золотоноша) is a city located in the Cherkasy Oblast (province) in central Ukraine. It is located at around 49°40′0″N, 32°1′60″E, the city serves as the administrative center of the Zolotoniskyi Raion (district), however the city itself is also designated as a separate district within the oblast.

Zolotonosha is located on the Zolotonoshka River, a tributary of the Dnieper within 30 km of the oblast's administrative center, Cherkasy. The city is also located on the railroad line Bakhmach-Odessa, and on the autoroad Kiev-Kremenchuk and Cherkasy-Shramkovka.

Zolotonosha was first mentioned in written works around the year 1576. Since 1635, Zolotonosha has retained the Magdeburg rights. During the Russian Civil War, Zolotonosha became part of the Soviet Union, and belonged to the Ukrainian SSR until 1991, when the Soviet Union fell apart. Since 1991, the city is part of Ukraine.
