For the first time in Zoey 101, Zoey Brooks struggles with a class, Chemistry, where she scores a "C" on a test. Desperate, Zoey embraces a mysterious tutor who her teacher recommends. This mysterious tutor is no other than Logan Reese. In return, Zoey must promise to keep the tutoring sessions a secret. When Chase asks Logan what he and Zoey are doing however, Logan tells Chase that he is dating Zoey. Meanwhile, Quinn and Lola tries to capture Quinn's rat. Michael plays the flute for the second time this season. Chase denies his love for Zoey as in the past. In reality, he is still very much in love with Zoey, and we know this because he had a very bad reaction when Logan convinced him that he was dating Zoey. In this episode, we discover that Logan knows Chemistry quite well, due to his grandfather's knowledge given to him during a summer vacation. In the end, Chase and the others discover the truth about Zoey and Logan's situation and Chase gets revenge on Logan for trying to steal Zoey, his one true love, away from him.
