I have added this page to the anime and manga WikiProject, because it really could use some fleshing out, and maybe a bit of tweaking for the wording here and there. My main concern is that I lack the sources to verify the name of the magazine that Zodiac P.I. originally ran in, and do not know if Natsumi Ando has any other published manga works other than Zodiac P.I.. I also don't know if there are that many references or allusions to other works either Japanese or non-Japanese, in the manga. If anyone can provide this information, I would be very happy! Additionally, once I've dug up my copies of the graphic novels, I was thinking I could provide very brief summaries for the various chapters or for the graphic novels, ie cover the important plot and subplot events (such as the introduction of Sirius), character introductions (such as those of Hiro's sister, the various Zodiac spirits from the Star Ring, and so on), etc. There's only four volumes total (and it's a completed series, too), it's a recent series, so it would not be too difficult, just slightly time-consuming. Thanks! I figured it would be something like Nakayoshi, as Nakayoshi is owned by Kodansha and publishes magical girl and shoujo stuff, but wasn't nearly sure enough of which Kodansha magazine ran it to put any info in. Thank you VERY much for adding the picture and info box, too!

What I'll probably do next is remove the "genres" section in the article and move the other genre mentions to the info box, tweak the "Format" section to reflect the fact that it was published in Nakayoshi starting November 2001, and add a link to the Natsumi Ando article (which should really be marked as a Stub, and added to the Wikiproject, while I'm at it, since there's almost no info on it except her name and the fact that she's most famous for having written/illustrated Zodiac P.I. - frankly, I seem to recall more information than that being in the side-bars of the manga! I'm sure it'll be able to be expanded considerably, even if this manga was her first ever published work) from the info box. -RW 63.21.32.196 19:36, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

I would appreciate it if whomever keeps reverting the genres section in the infobox would stop doing so. While there is quite a bit of action and of course, a huge amount of the mystery genre, it is also VERY much a traditional shoujo Fantasy series - it has a magic ring with enchanted sprits, for example, and features mystically-created visions of key evidence for each case (in Lili's crystal ball), both clearly in the realm of Fantasy, and featuring very prominently in the story since Lili rarely solves a case without the use of the Star Ring (in fact, I can't recall any case other than the side-story about she and Hiromi in kindergarten that actually had her solving it without the ring). As for shoujo - please, the main character is by technical definition a magical girl, half the plot revolves around she and Hiromi's feelings for each other, and the original target audience was young girls; it's shoujo. Please do not revert my edit again, since I cannot argue that it would be anything but misleading to say that the series is anything but a combination of mystery, Fantasy, and shoujo. :) - RW 63.21.32.46 05:46, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
