[edit] Summary
Pioneer Aerial topdressing Miles Whitney Straight ZK-AFH of the Ministry of Public Works, New Zealand, photographed in the late 1930s.
Purchased from agent of photographer's estate by the author, who asked about reproducing the image and was advised by the vendor that the sale included intellectual property to the image. As the deceased had worked with Whites Aviation, (although this image predates that companies formation), to be certain the estate could sell the intellectual property in the image, the succssor firm to Whites were sent a copy of photo, and told of the intention to release this image to the public domain. They did not assert any propreitary interest.
Consequently, I am confident I own the intellectual property in the image, and release it into the public domain. Winstonwolfe 07:15, 18 September 2006 (UTC)(WW is a lawyer, albeit not an IP lawyer).
