[edit] Istrian exodus

Then there was another Italian edit that was very close to NPOV, but lacked proper citations for actions like "political cleansing" taking place, etc.--Zivan56 20:09, 21 May 2006 (UTC)

I guess you were referring to my edit, as I stated in the Discussion section:

I apologize as I did a major editing, trying to write a few NPOV paragraphs, and forgot to log in. There is still a Reference section that should be added. FrancescoMazzucotelli 19:58, 21 May 2006 (UTC)

I certainly concede that the current version lacks proper citations and bibliographical references. It is still way better than the previous one and I hope it will serve as a working base for all those users who are genuinely interested in improving the article through constructive criticism and respectful argumentation. Unfortunately, I have reasons to expect a series of reverts and hard-liner POVs.--FrancescoMazzucotelli 22:53, 21 May 2006 (UTC)

Definately it is now closer to NPOV after your changes. I only had problems with putting this article as being related to ethnic cleansing, as I do not believe that people were targeted specifically for being ethnically Italian, rather, for being part of the Axis powers (which would probably put it into some other category), or collaborating with them. However, feel free to prove me wrong if you have a source. Same goes with the "political cleansing," which was probably true to some extent, but it was not a direct motive (I believe a large number of people murdered for political reasons were part of the Cetnik and Ustasa movements, with very few belonging to any peaceful/democratic ones, and with clear goals to destabilise Yugoslavia). I certainly do not want to article to be pro Yugoslav propaganda, but edits by people like PIO were definately over the edge. --Zivan56 00:17, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for your reply, although you should have posted it on my discussion page :-) . Rather bizarre, but this seems to be the habit on Wikipedia.
As for the content of the article, I would say I'm not enough qualified to delve into the details of the historiographic discourse. Do expect more POV edits, anyway. I wouldn't be surprised if people who weren't able to push successfully their POV in the Italian-language entry came here to try the same trick. --FrancescoMazzucotelli 04:06, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
I have noticed that too, but I then get the feeling that people wont understand what the whole discussion was about then. Criticism taken I suppose ;) Hopefully someone with some valid references can improve up these, as I do not have much time nowadays to go into details with a search on a peer reviewed acedemic database. These topics have not had such problems before a certain individual started to mess with them, so I hope it can be resolved soon. --Zivan56 04:33, 22 May 2006 (UTC)

Read the message I received on my talk page and my reply. --FrancescoMazzucotelli 13:55, 24 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] PIO/Jxy

I would like to bring your attention to this page. Since you are more familiar with PIO/Jxy's edits at Josip Broz Tito, Istrian exodus and Foibe massacres, you are probably the one better suited to report them here. Hvala! --JFred 03:27, 26 May 2006 (UTC)

Looks like nothing was done. I have tried this before, buts it's no use since admins usually don't have time to look into it. Thanks for the help either way --Zivan56 05:07, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
No problem. Now that I think about it, his edits are more of a NPOV violation than vandalism, which is probably why they haven't done anything. Anyway, the best avenue to take appears to be WP:RFC/WP:RFAr. As I said on the Tito talk page, I will go that route if he continues they way he has been. --JFred 05:22, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
Looks like he is now attacking me verbally in Italian on various user talk pages. See his contributions to any talk page. --Zivan56 00:17, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Foibe massacres

Please, could you check and revert (if you think this is the best solution) the edits made by PIO on Foibe massacres? I reverted 3 times yesterday and I don't want to be blocked. Thanks. GhePeU 10:05, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Warning

We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism and if you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Stop it and consider improving rather than damaging the hard work of others.--PIO 15:30, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
