Zirconium(II) hydride (ZrH2) is a chemical compound.
Conditions/substances to avoid are: strong oxidizing agents, flames, steam, water and acids.
It is used as a hydrogenation catalyst in powder metallurgy, in the vacuum tube industry, in nuclear moderators as a reducing agent and as a metal-foaming agent.
