"It's a chemical compound" isn't a good enough reason to have an encyclopedia article. 2,5,11-trichloroicosane is a chemical compound too, but it definitely doesn't deserve its own article, because there's nothing distinguishing it from many other chloroalkanes. Zinc peroxide probably does deserve an article, but right now there's nothing to show that. What is it used for? What are its interesting properties?
