Ying Kuo is an personal banker living in California who one day discovers while shopping that she has the ability to buy the most needlessly items. Her ability has proved useful in increasing the amount of junk in her boyfriend's apartment and wasting his money.

Thirteen years before the start of the series, Kaito Nakamura puts Claire into the hands of Mr. Bennet. In the background, Ying can be found shopping for ceramic bowls that she doesn't really need.
Her only weakness are dogs. She has been known to leap over small bushes to get away from them. Diamonds can be considered her weakness too since she becomes a crazed maniac at the sight of one. She is currently dating one of the hottest hunks in the world, Alvin Wong.

At the discovery of her own powers, Ying's mission was to obtain the diamond with the most sparkle. One of her main goals is to make her boyfriend buy needless junk that he doesn't need. Currently most of her battles have been only partly successful especially when she throws a tantrum.

Ying needed a way to hide her crazed diamond reactions from her friends. Thus, she obtained a costume that unfortunately was not to her liking. She has been known to call herself Rachel to hide her true name. Whenever a famous person is around, she will jump up and down and reach for all her make-up in her LV purse.
