I am new to the Wikipedia
I have always been interested in technical trivia, but I never knew what to do with all the information. The Wikipedia gives me an outlet for my perfectionism and curiousity. I love to share new things that I learn.
I work in the field of optics, but I am an electrical engineer by training.
I have spent my entire adult life designing leading edge electronic equipment. I have spent the last six years developing high-speed optical networks for delivering voice, video, and data services directly to homes.
I am mainly interested in contributing in the areas of military history and technology.
I have always loved history and technlogy. At one point in my life, I was a defense contractor. Next to being a father, that was the best job in the world. I designed underwater stuff for the US Navy. The Cold War ended, however, and that was a good thing. I consider the work I did during that time my very best.
I am a father
There is nothing like being a dad. My kids are grown now. When I see small children playing, I think back fondly to when my children were young. I now look forward to someday being a grandfather.
