Zhukovka

Zhukovka (Russian: Жу́ковка) is a town in Bryansk Oblast, Russia, situated on the left bank of the Desna River (Dnieper's basin) 56 km north-west of Bryansk. Population: 19,731 (2002 Census).
It was founded in 1868 as a settlement on the Oryol–Riga railroad. Town status granted in 1962.
