From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Zhongshan Park (Chinese: 中山公园; pinyin: Zhōshān Gōngyuán) is the name of a transfer station on the Shanghai Metro, named after Shanghai's largest park which is located nearby.
The station is the current western terminus of Line 3 and a station on Line 2 and Line 4. It was the western terminus of Line 2 until December 30, 2006, when the first four stations of the planned western extension to Hongqiao airport were opened.
This station is also one of the only stations to have a store inside the station, the Silver Fruit bakery, which is in the interchange passage between Line 2 and Line 3/Line 4.
