Zhongshan Park (Shanghai)

Zhongshan Park (Chinese: 中山公园; pinyin: Zhōshān Gōngyuán) is a park in the city of Shanghai. It is located in the centre of the Changning District and has a large collection of trees and flowers.

Zhongshan Park was founded in 1914. Before then it was a private garden owned by a British property developer. The park was originally named Zhaofeng Park, and is renamed in honour of Dr. Sun Zhongshan at 1944.

The park can be reached by taking Shanghai Metro Line 2 to its current Western terminus, Zhongshan Park station.
