Zeyad Emara born Zeyad Mohamed Basil Hassan Hosni Emara, is an Egyptian/Canadian handball player. He is born in Toronto, Ontario Canada on 5th January 1993.

Zeyad was born in Toronto, Ontario where his father Mohamed Basil Emara was studying pro studies in the University of Toronto (U of T) At the age of 2, his parents decided to go back to Egypt because his grand father Hassan Hosni Emara was tired. He went to El Alsson British,American International School since the age of 4. He started to study in the Egyptian National System but at the age of 11 in the 6th grade, he decided to switch to the British International Section to avoid taking an extra year of education and to do GCSE in the future. He is currently in the 9th Grade at the age of 13.

Zeyad's main fantasies are ICT and music. He likes listening to music all the time is a big fan of former pop/punk band blink-182 He now listens to Alternative/Indie/Rock band (+44) and alternative rock band Angels and Airwaves and he is a big fan of both. Before he used to listen to rap/hip-hop music but still sometimes listens to Eminem, G-Unit Records, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube but mainly Aftermath Entertainment artists.
For ICT (Information Communication Technology), he likes working on the computer all the time either doing ICT courseworks or chatting and downloading music.

He is currently playing handball in Gezira Sporting Club in Zamalek. In school he has won the school the football Champs' League Tournament three years in a row. He has gone in second place in the CAFASSA tournament in Basketball with school team

Zeyad has had one girlfriend called Maria from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. He has a brother called Hassan Emara and a sister called Farida Emara. He is a Sunni Muslim. Believes in Muhammad (SAAWS).
