ZERO1-MAX United States Openweight Championship

The ZERO1-MAX United States Openweight Championship is a championship contested for in the Japanese professional wrestling promotion Pro Wrestling ZERO1-MAX.

Upon its creation the title was known as the ZERO-ONE United States Heavyweight Championship. With ZERO-ONE's membership in the National Wrestling Alliance, the title changed to the NWA/ZERO-ONE United States Heavyweight Championship on July 4, 2004. On October 26, 2004, ZERO-ONE left the NWA and the title became the ZERO-ONE United States Openweight Championship until five days later, October 31, 2004, when the promotion left the NWA and changed its own name from ZERO-ONE to ZERO1-MAX. With this change, the title changed names one last time, to the ZERO1-MAX United States Openweight Championship.

Spanky vacated the title to return to World Wrestling Entertainment.
Alex Shelley 1 September 13, 2005 Tokyo, Japan Defeated Sonjay Dutt to win the vacant title.
Christopher Daniels 1 November 23, 2005 Tokyo, Japan Defeated Shelley and Dutt in a three-way match.
Daniels stripped of the title on May 4, 2006 due to his being unable to appear for ZERO1-MAX.
