[edit] Ello
Hey, Thanks for the message. Yes, I'm currently working in Kuwait right now, but I'm leaving in 3 weeks. I've decided that while I'm here, I'm should try and write as much as possible. And take photographs. About my user page, I'm just a little too busy/lazy/thoughtless about it right now.
[edit] Speedy Deletion?
Hey, I was going through the list of Candidates for Speedy Deletion this morning, and I noticed that you had marked List of cities in Kuwait for deletion. I didn't see any reason to delete it, so I removed the {{delete}} tag... but what was your reason for wanting it deleted in the first place? I mean, you're Kuwaiti yourself, right? DS 23:39, 13 October 2005 (UTC)
Hey, I've noticed how frustating it is for you to be the only one to be creating pages on Kuwait, and one person working on a country is not enough. I'm usually busy but I promise I'll try my very best to help you with that.
[edit] Terminus (band)
I noticed your comments on the AfD, and I also left a comment on the talk page for the article. Please review AfD for proper process regarding articles proposed for deletion, specifically your comment that you would "remove the AfD status within 72 hours if there is no objection by that time" in regards to demonstrating verifiability. AfD tags are not to be removed except by administrators and other removal could be considered vandalism. If you can show that there's some other way of verifying that Terminus is that integral a part of the Kuwaiti metal scene besides your own word, then I'd be more than willing to change my vote. [edit] Infoboxes
We should start using infoboxes for comanies, institues, organizations and schools in Kuwait. --Ahmed 17:03, 17 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Kuwait City
Hi, I reverted your edit deleting suburbs of Kuwait City. Kuwait is a suburb of what? A suburb is a small city dependant on a very close (proximity) city for economic reasons. Please understand I am not being argumentative, I just felt that was not a good explanation. I see you are from Kuwait? Maybe just rename that section "Kuwait City Neighborhoods" or something and leave the names? Shukran. Kirby 23:44, 31 December 2005 (UTC)
Hi again. Thanks for the awesome explanation. I spent quite a bit of time in Kuwait city and never knew that. But I still think the neighborhoods (or whatever) should still be included in the entry. Although, with that explanation, perhaps the entry itself needs an entire reworking? Anyway, thanks for not being offended. And have a Happy New Year!Kirby 03:26, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Darn!
Sorry about those articles. I'll remember to add categorizes the next time I write an article :-). How was Kuwait? I've seen you've done a good deal of research. I'm going to be there next Thursday. Going to be there for a very long time. You get home safely. Talk to you later. --Ahmed 20:34, 6 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] population of Kuwait
Hello,
I basically reverted your recent change to Kuwait about the population. PACI estimates that Kuwait's population in 2004 was 2.753 million, and as of June 2005 was 2.867 million [1]. The other estimates of Kuwait's population all seem to be from the CIA World Factbook. Some of the datapoints in its Kuwait article haven't been changed in 19 years! (like the ethnic group information).
Nice work on all the Kuwait articles. I see that you created a page for my old high school!

[edit] Thanks
Thanks for the props. Kuwait seems great this time of year. Kind of quiet though, stayed up last night with friends organizing something. Prices seem inflated these days. --Ahmed 04:25, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Governorates
I've made some big changes on Governorates of Kuwait. Have a look, and fix anything you might think needs fixing. I've created a template: Template: Infobox GCC Governorate and applyed it to Kuwaiti governorates. I've done a bit on Governorates of Qatar. Have a look at them. Tell me what you think. Golbez has done all the maps with the highlighting. --Ahmed 03:05, 24 January 2006 (UTC)
Looks good. I read the newspaper at the grocery store this morning. Seems the Sheikh Sabah is the Emir now. Apparently Official too, yet last night I was informed that at 6pm it was announced that Sheikh Saad is the official Emir and Sheikh Sabah isn't. Sooner or later we'll find out. Got to get going, at work --Ahmed 07:13, 25 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Western Sahara
Hi, here is a vote related to Western Sahara, it's about the neutrality of wikipedia in this conflict, are you interested? Daryou 18:29, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Translation request
Hello, I saw that you are a native speaker of Arabic, so I would like to ask you if you could take a look at 2003 invasion of Iraq and Iraq War. There is a featured article in Arabic which we would like to know how it could be used the English one which is of course dominated by people who have either been there as soldiers or have their knowledge from western media. Someone also asked if the section about "related propaganda and phrases" could be amplified with information about the Iraqi side. Maybe there are also people who took photos in Iraq at the Arabic version? Nameme 16:27, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Kuwait reverts
Hello. Why was my edits reverted?, I just added some useful information. Answer please. --80.63.213.182 15:23, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
- Okay, i read your answer. I didn't know that you should not linkm even if there was already an article about it. I guess i learned something today. Sorry for the inconvinience :P. (but i still fixed the link in the infobox, where it said "2006 est. est." instead of "2006 est.")
[edit] RIT Userbox

[edit] Long time.
Hey. It's been a long time, and I took a huge break from Wikipedia but I'm back again. I'm going back to Kuwait City tommoro before dawn. I'm going to try my very best to clean up alot of the Kuwait articles while I'm there. Then move to writing about Qatar and finish up the rest of the gulf. It's good to see you're still looking over alot of the articles we wrote. --Ahmed 01:15, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
If you need photographs, you can give me a list and I'll try my best taking them... --Ahmed 19:59, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Alarfaj group
Regarding the article Alarfaj group, what needs to be cited? All the information on that page was taken from the official website at the bottom of the article. -Zer0fighta 01:00, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
- Citations regarding companies should mostly consist of sources that are independent of the companies themselves. -- Koffieyahoo 07:59, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/OWMC
Could you please take a look at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/OWMC? The article OWMC will probably be deleted unless the facts in it can be confirmed. The Older Women's Muslim Community (Arabic: مكان الاجتماع لأجل نساء مسلمة أرشدة. ) is a health club for older Muslim women. --TruthbringerToronto (Talk | contribs) 03:03, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] More copyrightery...
Specifically, is Image:National assembly of Kuwait.jpg your own work? As it is it just has a PD tag on it and no indications of its source. 68.39.174.238 22:22, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re: io
Na, not in Kuwait at the moment. I don't think I will be going to Kuwait anytime soon. Got a bit bored:-(. I bet it's really stormy there now. --Ahmed 19:23, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
Btw, any idea why the Zajil Telecommunications article has been deleted? --Ahmed 14:00, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Bader

[edit] Re: Bader
Lol hey mishari thanx for that link btw:) oh ya and about Kuwait I left really early this winter break... Like I was out of there by Jan. 3rd. Most of the time there I got busy with family (cuz of Eid) and all sorts of random stuff, it was really a short break. But ya if you're going back in the summer we should hit up Mishref United lol like the old days or some other gahwa:) I'll probably be back by July. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Bader isu (talk • contribs) 18:34, 17 February 2007 (UTC).
