The Falcon Family of Companies has been a leading producer of gay pornographic films since the 1970s. Falcon Entertainment is based in San Francisco, California, USA, Falcon Entertainment produces videos and DVDs showing explicit sexual activity between men under a variety of company names. The Falcon Family of Companies consists of:

  • Falcon Studios is the group's main brand, with the highest production quality and aesthetic values.
  • Jocks Studios focuses on younger models.
  • Mustang Studios features more mature models.
  • The Falcon International Collection focuses on European (mostly Eastern European) models, filmed in Europe.

Falcon was founded by Charles (Chuck) Holmes, originally of Terre Haute, Indiana, who died of AIDS complications in September 2000. He was 55. Holmes was succeeded by the company's president, John Rutherford, and vice president Terry Mahaffey. Falcon is currently led by Todd Montgomery.

Falcon has positioned itself as a philanthropic entity. All of Falcon's post-expense profits are donated to the Charles M. Holmes Foundation, which distributes funds to charitable organizations, including HIV/AIDS outreach programs, the Human Rights Campaign, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), the Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund and the U.S. Holocaust Museum. In 2002, the foundation donated USD $1 million (the largest single-contributor gift) to finish San Francisco's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center, which is named for Holmes.
