- I reverted out your June change of "TCU" from a disambig page to a redirect page. Hope you agree. --Alvestrand 16:54, 26 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Lyrics
Hey, what's up? Thanks for posting the lyrics, but I don't think we're allowed to have them here. We can link them remotely though. OmegaWikipedia 05:42, 10 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Image license
Hi Zephern,
You can add a source to an image by editing the image description page. For example, the page Image:Ray-Brown.jpg has an "edit this page" link, just like normal pages. I've added the source that you've provided, but can you add the license it's under? By default, an image is copyrighted, and wikipedia cannot just use it. [edit] Image:5fsf43hjsdfJe.jpg has been listed for deletion
An image or media file that you uploaded, Image:5fsf43hjsdfJe.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. |

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as [[{{{1}}}]], but we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. Perhaps you would like to rewrite the article in your own words. For more information, take a look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Happy editing! Benon 05:47, 15 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Marshawn Evans
Hey, I noticed you created a page about Ms. Evans. It seems like there is much more information about her out there than is noted in the article. The page, if you haven't noticed, is even up for an AFD right now, but it looks like people are suggesting to expand it rather than delete it. I just wanted to give you heads up so you could add the information yourself, since you are the creator of the page. Otherwise, others, and myself, will be glad to add the information. [edit] Image Tagging Image:Baker2.jpg
|
Thanks for uploading Image:Baker2.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. SteinbDJ 19:16, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Raymond Alfred Brown
Please don't repost that. It was deleted as an uncontested prod. If you think he should have an article then go through Wikipedia:Deletion review. Thanks. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 18:00, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Lost Vandalism
It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from an article. Please be careful not to remove content from Wikipedia without a valid reason, which you should specify in the edit summary or on the article's talk page. Thank you. Gdo01 00:17, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
