Zeddy

Zeddy was a teddy bear mascot used by the Zellers store franchise all over Canada. He was first used in the mid-1980s as an advertsing campaign, and then rised to his popularity by the early 1990s.
Zellers would provide a stuffed Zeddy bear for any child who had a birthday party sponsored by Zellers. There would also be a Zellers employee in a giant Zeddy costume hosting the party.
Zeddy was said to have disappeared from Zellers's lineup of toys in late 2005.
