I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Though we all make stupid mistakes, here is what Wikipedia is not. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to see the help pages or add a question to the village pump. The Community Portal can also be very useful.

Happy Wiki-ing!

[edit] Bosnian Tornjak material

Hi--the info that you're putting into this article appears to be taken from this site, which is a possible copyright violation. Can you confirm whether you have permission from that site to copy their text to Wikipedia under GFDL? If not, we really can't post it here and will have to remove it. Let me know. Meanwhile, I have to post it as possible copyright violation. Elf | Talk 19:41, 11 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] renaming pages

When you want to rename a page, click the move link, don't copy and paste to new name and replace old with redirect, that loses the history. --Joy [shallot] 22:34, 12 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] reassigning anonymously made contributions

It seems that you registered as Zec after contributing for many months under your IP address, cf. Special:Contributions/83.93.2.84. Perhaps we should merge these two sets of contributions so that it's all under your name? --Joy [shallot] 20:19, 26 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] The 1992 Yugoslav Eurovision entry

I can understand why you and others think of the 1992 entry as the last entry by the old Yugoslavia. However, the fact is that by ESC 1992 the SFRJ no longer existed. Serbia and Montenegro were now the FRJ, a new country which has continued to exist, unbroken, to this day, though changing its name to S&M in 2003. The Yugoslavia that entered ESC 1992 was not the same country as the SFRJ; it is the same country as the S&M of today. The FRJ was an EBU member in 1992 as it took over the SFRJ's membership when the SFRJ broke up and Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, the Republic of Macedonia and Slovenia all joined the EBU in their own right. The FRJ then had its EBU membership withdrawn as part of the cultural sanctions - its membership was restored some years later.

Certainly on the eurovision_general e-group, all the Bosnians and Slovenes there say the YU of 1992 was not the SFRJ and that it was S&M. They say that S&M debuted at ESC 1992 then returned to the contest in 2004. If you watch the DVD of the ESC 2004 final, the S&M jury spokesperson says it's nice to be 'back in the contest after 12 years'. Jess Cully 14:17, 3 September 2005 (UTC)

Can you help me upload pictures? I don't know if I copyright my pictures correctly. Let's say I wanted to copy a picture on imdb.com How would I do that? (Kyla 01:41, 8 September 2005 (UTC))

I wanted a picture on imdb.com to put on wikipedia. How would I do that? (Kyla 01:29, 9 September 2005 (UTC))

Look at the picture that I uploaded! It's under Sex symbol article. And while you'll looking at it, can you make sure that the caption makes sense? I'm not sure if it makes sense. I hope it does. :) (Kyla 13:11, 11 September 2005 (UTC))

[edit] Image Tagging Image:Zadomspremni.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Zadomspremni.jpg. I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag, so its copyright status is therefore unclear. Please add a tag to let us know its copyright status. (If you created/took the picture then you can use {{gfdl}} to release it under the GFDL. If you can claim fair use use {{fairuse}}.) If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know on the image description page where you got the images and I'll tag them for you. Otherwise, see Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use. Thanks so much. --Smiker 11:56, 17 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] {{web-screenshot}} tag

I've noticed you've uploaded some images tagged with {{web-screenshot}}. This tag is not meant to be used for images that came from Web pages; it's meant to be used for images of Web pages (such as Image:Wikipedia.PNG, for example). I've retagged the images below as having no license information. Please edit the image description pages to include information about the licenses these images are under. —Bkell 05:55, 31 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Maps where a Municipality has been higlighted (for Bosnia)

Dragi Zeko, seems like u've been making these. I'm just becoming wild about infoboxes for Bosnian cities (see Tuzla or Zenica); could you tell me which cities you've already made these for, so that I can finish the infoboxes off *fala fala* :) Muhamedmesic 12:47, 26 January 2006 (UTC)

I've made maps for Bihać, Kalesija, Konjic, Srebrenik, Teočak (the article needs quite some work), and Zvornik. That's about it.

[edit] Image Tagging Image:Zadomspremniu.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Zadomspremniu.jpg. The image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the image qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. -- Carnildo 09:28, 4 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image Tagging Image:Ustasenoz.jpg

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Ustasenoz.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. [edit] Unspecified source for Image:Kingfahdsar.JPG

The photos you have used and claimed yourself as the creator (Kingfahdsar.JPG & Vogoscamosque1.JPG) is a copy written work from a photographer from Sarajevo. You claimed the work to be yours which is a violation of copyright. The images are about to be removed. In the future, please follow the rules. I will try to obtain the proper consent from the photographer in regards to the given photos.

The images you stole and wrongfully claimed as yours were stolen from http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/39206130/ as well as from the photographers Flickr accounts on http://flickr.com/photos/mizi/sets/72157594309520240/ where both of the images can clearly be seen, as well as their copyright tag. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Redcardiff (talkcontribs).

[edit] Fair use problem with Image:Srebrenica6.jpg

I notice you uploaded the image Image:Srebrenica6.jpg with the {{film-screenshot}} fair use image tag. However, it appears that this tag is totally unrelated to the content of the image, and as a result it may qualify for speedy deletion. Image:Srebrenica6.jpg has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message.

If you can find a valid tag that expresses why Image:Srebrenica6.jpg can be used under the fair use guidelines, please replace the {{film-screenshot}} tag that you have placed on it with that tag. If no such tag exists, please add the {{fairusein|article name that the image is used in}} tag, along with a brief explanation of why this constitutes fair use of the image. If the image has been deleted, you can reupload it but please ensure you place the correct tag on it. However, you must not remove the speedy deletion notice. [edit] Untagged image

An image you uploaded, Image:Gradacacshield.png, was tagged with the {{coatofarms}} copyright tag. This tag was deleted because it does not actually specify the copyright status of the image. If you have any questions, ask them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. -- 11:47, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Persija Football Logo.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Persija Football Logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. [edit] Bulend Biščević

[edit] Bulend Biščević

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Bulend Biščević, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.

Can I have sources that the championship of Croatia or Bosnia are fully professional? If so I will stop insist for the deletion. KRBN 14:23, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
