[edit] US Flags

Hi, I just noticed that you pngcrushed a bunch of the Historical US Flag images a few months ago. The problem is, your system totally borked the colors. The colors were very precise before, meeting the US Gov spec, and now they are off. I don't really want to go back through and upload all of the files again, and my versions are about 3 times as big in filesize, and I have vector versions which I will put up in SVG if I change them at all, but I thought I'd let you know that whatever method you were using did change the picture data, so you might not want to use it in the future. --jacobolus (t) 10:02, 18 November 2005 (UTC)

Hmm, I see that too... really odd! I'll see what I can do. 172.150.162.218 06:03, 10 December 2005 (UTC)
Well, one of my PNG optimizers are *definately* killing images. :-( I'll revert the images back to your versions later when I'm back at my high speed internet connection. oh well. zcrayfish 06:14, 10 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Chapel-Hill-Town-Flag.png

Hi Zrayfish, can you maybe tell me, why this should be in the public domain? --Flominator 20:15, 23 March 2006 (UTC)

Hello, I copied the public domain notice from the previous version of the image (Image:Chapel-Hill-Town-Flag.gif)... But after some further research, I think the image may be copyrighted, and it probably qualifies for fair-use... Thank you for bringing this to my attention. :-)

[edit] Tone on bone healing

The tone in the article is fine. I appreciate the fact that the list of the phases does not seem to be a continuous prose, but i assure you that both I and Robert tried to use a paragraph to explain the reparative process and came to the conclusion that a list is much more readable and useful than a paragraph which is crammed with a segmented message.

I appreciate the fact that you're trying to fix parts of the wikipedia up, but it would be better if you voiced your opinions with reference to relevant parts of the wikipedia policy -- namely on the talk page. JCraw 11:34, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

Once again I think you are getting me and 208.11.182.254 (which is a proxy) confused... Especially with your first paragraph... I didn't add the "formal tone" template to the article, 208.11.182.254 did that.
On the other hand, if anything that you just said was something to do with my edit comment "It still looks horrible... Needs a source."... Let me just clarify... By "Needs a source" I was referring to the fact that the article mentioned scientific studies, but there was no link to the study or mention of a published work or anything of that nature... Of course, the current version of the article doesn't include the statement about the scientific studies... That section of the article looks OK to me now.

[edit] Untagged image

An image you uploaded, Image:100px-Ragusa-Stemma.png, was tagged with the {{coatofarms}} copyright tag. This tag was deleted because it does not actually specify the copyright status of the image. The image may need a more accurate copyright tag, or it may need to be deleted. If the image portrays a seal or emblem, it should be tagged as {{seal}}. If you have any questions, ask them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. -- 01:26, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] image source

Image:0wned.png doesn't cite any real sources. --Ysangkok 18:08, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
