Zbigniew Morsztyn

Zbigniew Morsztyn (c.1628 Kraków, Poland - December 13, 1689, Konigsberg, Prussia which is now Kaliningrad, Russia) was a Polish poet. For 9 years (1648-1657) he was in the army, where he fought the Swedish invasion and Russians. His most celebrated work was religious poetry, contrasting with his cousin Jan Andrzej Morsztyn's style.

Morsztyn was a member of a Christian Polish sect called Polish Brethren which existed from 1562 to 1658.
