Zanduar is the handle of one Steven Jacob Wagner from Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, USA.

It was originally a dungeons and dragons character name, Zanduar Magnus, but was shortened to Zanduar.

While the series Buffy the vampire slayer created alot of variations on one of the characters names, Zander, the name Zanduar was created before the show aired. Any "Zander" names prior to 1995 can be accreditted to copying the show or by copying the handle Zanduar, as its widely used by the sole individual, Steven Jacob Wagner.

This wide spread use creates an internet presence, a wide spread identity online that is not uncommon with internet gaming. Because of this identity, almost anytime a person sees the handle "Zanduar" they can assume it is Steven Wagner.
