Zajas (Macedonian: Зајас) is a municipality in western Republic of Macedonia. Zajas is also the name of the village where the municipal seat is found.

The municipality borders Mavrovo and Rostuša municipality in the west, Gostivar municipality in the north-east, Oslomej municipality in the east, Kičevo municipality in the south-east, and Drugovo municipality in the south-west.

According to the last National census from 2002 this municipality has 11,605 inhabitants. ^[1]
