The term "Zadooplum" is a compound word derived from the Korean word for plum (zadoo) and the English word (plum) itself. The user "Zadooplum" was baptized with this nickname during childhood when playmates would mispronounce the actual moniker and use the Korean word for "plum" instead...and the name has stuck ever since.

The user "Zadooplum" is a History & Policy major and Japanese minor at Carnegie Mellon University. Zadooplum has studied Russian czars, the Arab-Israeli condition, U.S. Public Policy and African-American history. In the field of languages, Zadooplum completed 3 years of Spanish in high school, and 2 1/2 years of Japanese in college; Zadooplum is also fluent in both English and Korean, and knows a little Chinese.
