[edit] re: Template:NHLBracket
Your welcome. By the way, I was the one who first created Template:16TeamBracket, so if you need help on a new design for NHLBracket, I will be willing to assist you. I helped User:Earl Andrew with creating Template:PagePlayoffBracket. [1] [2] Zzyzx11 (Talk) 22:25, 21 April 2006 (UTC)

Ouch! Armhair pulled as punishment for me; my files have been changed accordingly. Good catch, it never popped up because thats a rather rare misspelling. Thanks for letting me know. JoeBot 14:12, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Football rankings
Thanks for populating the BCS table. I have created 2005 NCAA Division I-A football rankings and moved the BCS table to that page. I have removed the blue background for BCS NC selection but kept your superscript 1, no sense in having two indicators for the same thing. I like your background for teams that entered the poll that week and your extra row for teams that dropped. I will add those to the AP table as well. It took me nearly 3 hours to do the AP table. Glad it is done. Now, for the other polls. I'd like to get make this a Featured List once everything is completed.--NMajdan•talk 16:36, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, sorry. Guess I just saw your name most recent on the history and didn't look any further down. I guess I was going for the less obvious indicator. --NMajdan•talk 16:47, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] New userboxes
Please stop creating new userboxes in template space (per the German solution). Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and those userboxes you were making really don't help advance that in any way. Thanks for understanding. --Cyde Weys 19:54, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Sorry
I'm sorry but that userbox was accidental and I am just a fan. Sorry for the inconvenience.Mvp7 20:24, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] WP:GUS
Please follow the instructions here for each user box, then they are all in the GUS category and users will be able to edit it themselves and users with bots will be able to see them. Thanks.--Andeh 19:04, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
Also, if no users are using the userbox, add {{db-g6}} to them.--Andeh 19:05, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
I'll see if cyde wants to clean up the userboxes for you.--Andeh 19:14, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] OU Football edits
Thanks for fixing that. I'd been staring at it for a few days trying to figure out an NPOV way of re-wording it, but hadn't been able to come up with one. Guess I'm still too upset about the way the game turned out. z4ns4tsu\talk 13:45, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
haha yes I don't think your the only one.I guess the only thing we can do now is move on with the season and stay focused on the Big 12 title. SOADLuver 22:42, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] RE: Note on User talk:Z4ns4tsu/Userboxes
Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it! I think I got the userbox loaded correctly and the links seem to work. It shows up blue, and I can link to it with no problem. Cyrus Andiron 17:53, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Please Review
Hello, I am getting ready to propose 2005 Texas Longhorn football team for consideration as a featured article. The article has had one reveiw already and I believe all issues raised there have been addressed. I have also used the semi-automated review script to look for small things that need to be changed. The article is meticulously referenced with 121 in-line sources. It contains both free-use images and appropriate fair-use images. It attempts to follow the standards set out by the relevant wiki projects.
In watching the nomintaion of the OU football program, I see that the OU article has received some objections on the grounds of supposedly being overly positive and for listing too-many awards. I have reviewed the 2006 UT article in light of those objections and I am prepared to argue that every positive thing said is relevant and attributed to a specific source. As for the awards and accomplishments, I think all the ones listed in the UT article are notable and justifiable, but I'd like to get more feedback from other editors so I invite you to review the article if you please. [edit] Re: Oklahoma Sooners football under Bob Stoops
Ok, sounds good. If you do move all the content from Oklahoma Sooners football, please try to replace it with a couple good paragraphs so that section isn't blank. It probably doesn't look good having the eight year history of the Bob Stoops era as long as the 25 year era of Wilkinson, so this move should definitely help the article.--NMajdan•talk 21:24, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Image Help
Nope. The license of that image states it is not allowed for commercial works. If you want to search on flickr, go under advanced search and check all three boxes under "creative commons" above the search button. Any images you then find can be used on Wikipedia. Good luck! --MECU≈talk 20:21, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
- Another thing you could try it to email the owner of that image and ask them if they would drop the "No commercial" part of the license. --MECU≈talk 20:24, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, well it looks like the one I uploaded may have to be deleted. The photographer changed the license on my after I notified him that I used it on Wikipedia. He even said it was ok to use but he still changed the license. I notified him of the issue, so we'll see if it stays. I may notify the photographer of that picture cause it is really good.--NMajdan•talk 21:44, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
- So, get this, I got the guy to change his license on flickr! I uploaded several good images on Commons of Peterson, Kevin R. Wilson, Bob Stoops, and some others. Check out the commons:University of Oklahoma#People in athletics for the image. Also, there is commons:Image:Tyrone Willingham.jpg.↔NMajdan•talk 04:30, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

Hi, just to check, was this edit actually made by you, or by an anon impersonator (I ask only because an anon was trying to impersonate another user a few days prior, at the same place). Reply here. Thanks :) --Quiddity 19:02, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Userboxes Texas A&M
on the userboxes: User talk:Z4ns4tsu/Userboxes/NCAA-Texas A&M why don't you put the image Image:Texas AMU logo.png instead of "A&M"? or a thumb up?? -Sucrine ( ><> talk) 22:03, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
- It is against WP's fair use policy to have any non-Free images outside of article space. For this reason, the TAMU logo can not be put on user pages or in templates. I thinks it's WP:FUC number 9, but I'm not sure any more. If you or someone else want to create an image of the "Gig 'Em" hand sign, do so and relase it under the Creative Commons Share Alike license, the GDFL or into the public domain then we could use it in the box. That is what JohnTex did for the UT userbox. z4ns4tsu\talk 00:40, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] New Userboxes
I think it is great that you have done so many NCAA userboxes. Is there a template for putting them together? I don't know code very well and was hoping to put a couple together for the WAC. If you could point me in the right direction or even put one together (for Fresno State!) that would be much appriciated. Good work. Intrepidsfsu 10:31, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
