Please do not add commercial links or links to your own private websites to Wikipedia, as you did in Lebanon. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links as long as the content abides by our policies and guidelines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. --Nlu (talk) 09:07, 27 September 2006 (UTC)

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in Al-Qaeda. It is considered spamming, and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. Thanks. ¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 08:42, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] RE: omedia's links

Hello Yuval a, the link still does not seem appropriate enough to add to the article. I appreciate you asking to reconsider respectfully but according to this edit of Lebanon administrator Nlu had reverted your addition of an omedia link. The omedia link may not meet the requirements of WP:External Links. That's the only reason why one might consider it spam to add it to articles. If you still feel that the link is appropriate, leave a message on the article talk page appealing to its editors. They have more say in reality than I do considering that the editors of the article contribute to it more largely than any recent changes patroller does. Hope this helps you.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 14:29, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
