Yuri Suvarov is a fictional character played by Nick Jameson in the television series 24. He is president of the Russian Federation, and is married to Anya Suvarov

President Suvarov first appeared with his wife during the meeting between Suvarov and President Charles Logan on Day 5. He appeared to be acquainted with Charles and Martha Logan on some level. He is displeased when the terrorists take hostages at the Ontario Airport, because he was in the United States for the signing of a counter-terrorism treaty. However, Jack Bauer stops the terrorists and the signing goes as planned.

Later in the day, when the Suvarovs are leaving America, they are targeted by terrorist Vladimir Bierko. He is almost killed when terrorists attack the motorcade containing himself, Anya and Martha Logan. They are saved however, by a warning from CTU and the intervention of Secret Service Agent Aaron Pierce

The Suvarovs were unaware that President Logan knew of the attack ahead of time, and even gave the terrorists the route of the motorcade in order to try to stop them from releasing nerve gas. President Suvarov returned with Anya and the First Lady to the Presidential retreat for protection.

Suvarov returned in the 5:00 PM hour of day 6. After Jack Bauer infiltrated the Russian consulate, President Suvarov called the American Vice President to express his indignation.

Later that day Suvarov, incensed by the insubordination of Consulate Markov, authorizes the American assault on the Russian Consulate. It is this authorization which allows Jack Bauer to be rescued from Russian custody.
