Yukon Brewing Company is a trademark owned by the Chilkoot Brewing Co. Ltd microbrewery located in Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada. It makes eleven brews, seven of which are available outside Yukon.
When entering the American market, Chilkoot Brewing Company Ltd. faced trademark issues and decided to call itself the Cheechako Brewing Company. In 1999, however, the name changed again and the brewery now promotes itself as the Yukon Brewing Company.[1]
The brewery produces seven brews that are available outside of Yukon and four special brews that are only available in Whitehorse, for example at certain hotels, such as the High Country Inn or the Capital Hotel.[2]
