Yukinooh (ユキノオー Yukinoō?, Yukinooh in original Japanese language versions) is one of the 493 fictional species of Pokémon creatures from the multi-billion-dollar[1] Pokémon media franchise – a collection of video games, anime, manga, books, trading cards and other media, created by Satoshi Tajiri. Yukinooh is famous for being one of the Pokémon revealed before the Japanese release of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. The purpose of Yukinooh in the games, anime and manga, as with all other Pokémon, is to battle both wild Pokémon, untamed creatures encountered while the player passes through various environments, and tamed Pokémon owned by Pokémon trainers.[2]
Its Japanese name is likely a portmanteau of the Japanese word for snow (雪 yuki?); no (の?), a possessive partical; and the Japanese word for king (王 ō?). "Yukinooh" would literally translate to "king of snow."

Biological characteristics
Yukinooh appears to be a large yeti or abominable snowman. Its paws and legs are green in color and it has white fur. Its body is round, but its head is quite strange, with two eyes hidden; its fur actually appears to be pine needles, which along with its type seem to imply it is a mobile evergreen covered in snow. The chest fur is longer on females. It also is somewhat similar to the radish spirit in the movie Spirited Away.
In the video games
Yukinooh is one of many new Pokémon to have made its first appearance with the release of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl for the Nintendo DS.
Yukinooh is used by the seventh Gym Leader of Sinnoh, Suzuna, at level 42, making it her strongest Pokémon.
Yukinooh can be obtained by evolving Yukikabli. It is also able to be caught in the wild on the top of Tengan Mountain.
