Original description:
- Splendid example of flowering yucca. Not sure whether it is yucca gloriosa or yucca baccata or yucca ? . As Cyclone Ivy approached NZ on Friday user User:moriori took the photograph believeing the flower would be destroyed in the winds. It wasn't.
- This image has been released into the public domain by the author, User:moriori.
Update: This looks like a Yucca Aloifolia. Aka "Spanish bayonet" or "dagger plant".
