[edit] Korea-Japan relation

Hey, I saw your recent edit, Dokdo --> Liancourt Rocks. Appleby changed it, and that is NPOV.

In Dokdo article discussion page, we already had votes on whether to use Dokdo or Liancourt Rocks.

Since Dokdo is a more prevalent name, the users voted for that instead of Liancourt Rocks, which I had never heard of myself. (Wikimachine 16:17, 31 May 2006 (UTC)) could you show me the evidence to prove that Dokdo is preverent?--Yuan.C.Lee 16:21, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

please see the comment i just left on Talk:Dokdo. there was already a substantive discussion on what was npov, & the unanimous consensus of various long-time editors was that, because dokdo is under korean control & dokdo is more common in english than either takeshima or the very obscure "liancourt", and to be consistent with article names like Senkaku Islands, the npov name for the islets is dokdo. thanks. so Wikimachine = Appleby huh? I must tell you CONTROLING THE ISLAND cannot be a reason to name the islands Liancourt Rocks. South Korea and Japan have disputes of this matter. and I've heard South Korean refused to give it to a court? if someone suddnely break into your house ...if he wouldn't move out..what you should do is...to call for police and take him to a court. He can never change the nameplate of your house. and the name:'Liancourt Rocks are on the neutral point of view I hope you're smart.--Yuan.C.Lee 16:35, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
