Ystervark is a South African band that was form in 2001 and are now based in Auckland.

In November 2001, Ystervark released their first demo CD consisting of two tracks which received some airplay on 5FM and RSFM. In December 2001, the group was featured on the local television channel KykNet as part of a programme titled Die Mystic Bloem and also Heita! on E-TV in 2002.
They have appeared at a number of big events and festivals such as Oppi Koppi, Splashy Fen, Rustlers, Granaat, RP Studios Emerging Sounds, Op die Eiland and Riversands Rustlers Festival. In 2003 they relocated to Auckland, New Zealand.
