YP-F1

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The YP-F1 is a flash digital audio player manufactured by the Korean electronics company Samsung. The player was designed to compete with the iPod Shuffle. It comes in three storage capacities: 256 Mb, 512 Mb, and 1 GB. These three models are known as the YP-F1V, the YP-F1X, and the YP-F1Z, respectively. They support the MP3, WMA, Audio ASF, and Ogg formats. They connect to a computer with a USB cable. They feature FM reception, an FM recorder, a voice recorder, and a rechargeable lithium polymer battery. The player is notable for its small size (1.14" x 2.5" x 0.6"), its LCD screen (which the iPod Shuffle lacks), and its necklace-like style.
