Youth Studies Australia
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Youth Studies Australia (ISSN 1038-2569) is a peer reviewed academic journal published by the Australian Clearinghouse for Youth Studies -- also known as ACYS -- based at the University of Tasmania. The journal is published quarterly, in hard copy and as of 2006, online in full text for subscribers to the hard copy edition.
Its content includes feature articles on contemporary youth issues of interest to a wide audience including youth researchers, youth workers, policymakers, educators, and anyone with an interest in youth. The journal also contains book reviews and two regular columns that digest news from other sources: one summarising recent newspaper reports on youth (the Youth Monitor column), and the other summarising recent scholarly articles on youth relevant to an Australian readership (the Abstracts column).
Consult your nearest academic library for information on online access to its full text via Informit. On the ACYS web site you will find summaries of the journal's feature articles and an index to the feature articles.
