Yousef VI Emmanuel II Thomas

Patriarch Yousef VI Emmanuel II Thomas (August 8, 1852-July 21, 1947) was the Chaldean Catholic Patriarch of Babylon in Mesopotamia (modern-day Iraq) and head of the Chaldean Catholic Church.
He was born in Alqoa on August 8, 1852 and ordained priest on July 4, 1879 and consecrated bishop on July 24, 1892, as Bishop of Seert, in Turkey. He was chosen as the Patriarch of the Chaldean Catholic Church on July 9, 1900. He died on July 21, 1947.
