Your Mirror

"Your Mirror" is a 1991 song by Simply Red. Written by Mick Hucknall, it was featured on the album stars and reached number 17 on the UK chart when released in 1992.

The song is a critique of the then Conservative Government and the Thatcherite/New Right politics they pursued. The song criticises the individualism and rejection of 'society' that typified the New Right.

Hucknall's resentment of Thatcher is also evident in the song "Wonderland", also featured on the album Stars.
